Our family

We are a large family of Bayalievs living in Jalalabad, the south of Kyrgyzstan. Janvarbek and Cholpon, the heads of the family, have been together for more than 30 years. After having a long and interesting career of a civil servant, Janvarbek retired in 2010. Cholpon is an economics lecturer in the local university. The couple has three daughters, two sons, two sons-in-law, and two grandchildren.

The eldest daughter, Kanykey, has been based in the UK with her family for the past seven years and serves as a coordinator of the business in Europe. The second daughter, Gulsaadat, has worked for a number of international organisations and has enjoyed friendship with many colleagues from different parts of the world. Mirbek, the first son, is about to finish the University in Kyrgyzstan. He has experience of living and working in the USA. The remaining two children are still studying at the university and high school. Everyone, except for Janvarbek and Cholpon, speak fluent English.

We have a comfortable house in the outskirts of Jalalabad with a beautiful garden complete with fruit trees, outdoor kitchen and a traditional tapchan.  It is spacious and can accommodate a group of three-four people. We have all the necessary facilities in the house for the comfort. This is all about us in short.
